The new Exmoor Community bus commissioned in December 2015 is available for use on Exmoor by any Group or Organisation. It is an up to date asset supplied and supported by Somerset County Council to serve the whole of Exmoor.

The Community Bus service is run by a dedicated group of volunteers who provide the administration and also the drivers, all of whom have received the training required for the use and operation of this EXMOOR ASSET.

How do I get to the vaccine centre?
The Exmoor Community Bus may be able to provide free transport for people living in our area who have no other transport to reach a vaccination centre.
To find out if we can help, please phone 07925 044262.
We understand that housebound people may be offered a vaccine in their own homes. GP surgeries can advise on this and other vaccine arrangements.

The community bus is already used by many organisations within the Exmoor area for shopping trips to Exeter, Barnstaple, Taunton, Tiverton and Minehead. These trips are a regular and very popular events (booking a seat is recommended). Trips to the theatre, Christmas markets, and open gardens are also very popular.

The community Bus is also called into service for major events on Exmoor such as the Iron Man and it is providing a link for elderly and sometimes lonely people from the hamlets and villages around Dulverton to attend local day centres.
